Thankfully, they have their Shepherds to call upon - select men and women who born with the ability to partner nature's forces and protect the world for all who share it.

The Elder Gods

Avelare did not always enjoy the company of gods. As the eons passed and the planet's budding sentience grew and diverged, it called upon creation for aid, and thus the Elder Gods were born. Each of the gods, in turn, molded their own creations to populate the world and further guide the planet in its desires.
