The Journey Begins

Welcome to the most exciting and nerve-wracking stage of the publishing process (at least for me): pre-release!

At the time of this post, book one of the Seasons of the Shepherds Trilogy: Women of the Weave is available for pre-order on Amazon. My initial ad campaigns are off and running (and starting to perform nicely!), and all that is missing is the final cover art to go fully live.

Once live, Women of the Weave will be available in eBook, paperback, and hardcover formats immediately, while the audiobook version is in production. My goal is to have the audiobook available before the end of the year, as audiobooks have become a near obsession withe me in the last few years. Hearing my stories come to life in that way is almost too much to wish for (but I am determined to make it happen).

As the series starter, Women of the Weave will ease you into the world of Avelare primarily through the lenses of sisters Spring and Mina. From their points of view as citizens of Avelare's superpower, Coerdom, you will step into a new universe of simpler times and wondrous magic and possibilities. Delve into their family dynamics while also meeting the storied Shepherds of Coerdom, who commune with nature's sentient elemental forces to protect not only their nation but the world entire.

I am already hard at work on book two, Cousins of Conflict, which will broaden the scope of the series by whisking you away to the neighboring land of Kirin and their unique brand of spellbound magic. In Kirin, you'll encounter two more key characters in the story of our sisters and begin to solve the mystery surrounding our Shepherds.

Cousins of Conflict will be released on Valentine's Day weekend, February of 2026.
